1. Initial Plotter Setup (For All Users)

1. Unbox and Assemble: This plotter requires stable placement. Assemble the stand and the media catch basket securely. Place the plotter unit onto the assembled stand.
2. Install Printheads and Ink Cartridges: Open the ink system access panel. The 1050c Plus uses separate, high-capacity Ink Cartridges and replaceable Printheads for each of the four colors (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow).
   • Install Supplies: Insert the four ink cartridges into the supply slots, followed by the four printheads into their corresponding carriage slots. The plotter will run its automatic initialization and alignment process.
3. Load Paper (Roll Media): Load your paper roll onto the spindle. Insert the roll into the feed mechanism, ensuring it is straight and taut. Use the front panel to confirm the media type and roll size.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power cable into the back of the plotter and into a dedicated, reliable wall outlet. Press the Power button on the front panel to turn the plotter on.
